By now you know me as a real estate appraiser, but since I have to say something about me on this page, I’ll share some ‘trivia’ with you.

I’m a big animal lover, and I’ve had animals around all my life:  horses, cows, dogs, cats, even a pet squirrel that lived in the house with us, and I’ve raised wild bunnies and wild ducks until they were old enough to release.  I’d love to start an animal sanctuary if I had the space and the resources – and a very tall fence!  I’m a strong supporter of spaying and neutering to reduce the number of innocent animals that are abandoned or euthanized in shelters around the country.   If you absolutely must let an animal go, at least take them to a No-Kill shelter – please!  One of my favorite shelters is A Place To Bark here in Tennessee.  Bernie Berlin will gladly transport your adoptive animal to your city, be it north, south, east or west.   Thankfully no snakes have joined our animal family, because I’m NOT a snake lover!

I’m proud to be a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who is big on family! I have two amazing grown daughters, and two absolutely hilarious grandchildren, ages 9 and 3. I have the most loving husband who understands that helping around the house, doing some laundry or cooking up something good in the kitchen has nothing at all to do with his masculinity.  My parents celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this year and are the most inspiring role models in every aspect of life.  My life is richer than anything I could have imagined as a child.  I am blessed with the most wonderful, supportive and loving family anyone could ask for.  Family means unconditional love and always being there for each other!

So many children around the world grow up without anyone to care for and love them.  Some are even forced into an unimaginable hell.  That’s one reason I am so  impressed with 100XMissions, run by Paul Evans from Alabama.  100XMissions provides ‘safe’ houses to rescue children from the sex trade.  This is not on television, and not a movie – this is the real deal folks!  Paul and his world team have built and run safe homes around the world that care for and educate these innocent orphans.  They do an amazing job giving these children a new start in life and letting them  know they are worthwhile and loved!  Check them out, won’t you?  Be generous if you are able, at the very least, tell others about their program.  That’s 100XMissions and you can reach them through Paul Evans at http://twitter.com/Nicheology or through http://nicheology.com

I’m proud to be a spiritual woman, saved by God and have a personal relationship with my Lord.  I believe God expects each one of us to help in whatever way we can, to whoever we come in contact with, wherever we find ourselves in life.  I believe that whatever we send out ‘into the world’ is returned to us – be it good, bad or even mediocre.  Everything goes full circle!

The Law of Attraction and positive thinking go right along with that belief. If you’re in a bad mood, chances are you’ll attract other people in a bad mood. Put on a smile and touch those around you in a good way.  Chances are your days will be filled with cheerful people,  abundance and blessings.  It’s up to you what kind of energy you decide to surround yourself with and put out to the universe.

As I have time and the inclination,  I design custom fundraisers, either creating them from scratch or tweaking a mediocre fundraiser to be a top-producer. Still reading?  I spent 12 years as a professional entertainer in Florida, performing for luxury resort and convention centers along Florida’s West Coast, from Tampa to Marco Island.  Plus I’ve done my share of street fairs, festivals and concerts.  I’m a 4th-generation native Floridian (yes, we really do exist!), now transplanted to Tennessee.
